Rep. Gabrielle Giffords who suffered brain injuries following a gun shot wound at an Arizona grocery store, is being transferred to Houston where her husband Mark Kelly works for NASA. Giffords will be transferred under careful supervision from her doctors. The date has not been released of her transfer. Her husband recently gave an exclusive interview with ABC News anchor Diane Sawyer about the shooting that killed six and wounded more than a dozen others and his wife's condition. He spoke of the transfer and his hopes for his wife's full recovery at a news conference at University Medical Center in Tuscon, Arizona. Since the incident in early January, Giffords has opened her eyes, responded to commands and stood on her feet with the help of medical staff.
