The application works by allow cell phone users to “Flirt” with each other. The users can then give each other a location and meet up or continue to chat with each other as long as they wish. The application was created as a way for singles to connect in real-time, cutting out the email process used on many popular dating sites. In December 2010, Skout.com drew nearly 10,000 new users per day.
