NASA sent music, through space, to the ears of its astronauts on-board the orbiting Discovery shuttle. The music originated at NASA’s Houston mission control center, from a live performance by Big Head Todd and the Monsters. The band, winners of a NASA song contest, performed their song “Blue Sky”. The song was played overnight for the astronauts, during their historic mission. The performance can be viewed on NASA's website, NASA.gov.
