Cindy Paris, Technical Training Specialist with Pella Corporation said, “Three generations of my family work or have worked for Pella.  My parents both worked here, my husband works here, and so does one of my daughters.  Additionally, my brother and one of my sisters work for Pella Corporation.”  Paris served 11 years in the Military before she joined the privately-held company headquartered in Pella, Iowa. “When Pella offered me the job, I still had to go out-process from Active Duty in the Army, and then my youngest daughter had to have ear surgery.

So, Pella Corporation held the job for me for three weeks so that I could take care of both items before starting to work,” Paris said. “In the 17 years that I have worked for Pella, I have worked in several locations and careers: from the factory floor laying glass into windows, to making insulating glass (IG), to working in Quality and Safety, and then to my current position. My role has transitioned over the years, and training has been the consistency throughout.  I am now responsible for the technical training and progressions for our technical database fields at our manufacturing facilities.  I really enjoy my job and the daily variety .”

Paris said the company is known for its 84-year history of making innovative products, providing quality service and delivering on customer satisfaction. The company is committed to incorporating new technologies, increasing productivity, and practicing environmental stewardship to create satisfied customers.  Pella makes windows and doors for new construction, remodeling and replacement applications.
